Common Questions
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
How do I invite family members?
Go to Settings → Manage Family Members. You can send an invite link via text or email. Family members will need to download Ember and create their own account using the invite link.
When does the AI Daily Brief arrive?
The Daily Brief generates at 7pm in your local time zone, based on check-ins submitted that day. You'll receive a push notification when it's ready. At least one family member needs to check in for the brief to generate.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Manage Subscription. This will open your Apple subscription settings where you can cancel or change your plan. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Is my family's data private?
Absolutely. Your check-ins and briefs are only visible to members of your family. We never sell data to third parties. When our AI generates Daily Briefs, only first names are used — never emails or identifying information. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I add a child's account?
Children under 13 use parent-managed accounts. Go to Settings → Manage Family Members → Add Child. You'll set up their profile and they'll get an age-adapted check-in experience with emojis. All child data is visible to parents only.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Delete My Data. This permanently removes your account, all check-ins, briefs, and associated data. This action cannot be undone. If you're the family admin, other members will be notified.
What happens after my free trial ends?
After your 7-day free trial, you'll move to the Starter plan (free) which includes daily check-ins for 2 adults and a basic weekly summary. To keep AI Daily Briefs, Family Pulse Dashboard, and all Pro features, you can upgrade anytime from Settings.
